Jags sign QB Garrard to extensionJacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - The Jacksonville Jaguars signed quarterback David Garrard to a contract extension Monday. The team has scheduled an afternoon press conference to announce the deal.
The 30-year-old East Carolina product is coming off his first season as a
starter, completing 208-of-325 passes for 2,509 yards and 18 touchdowns
despite missing three games with an ankle injury. Garrard threw just three interceptions on the year and finished with the NFL's third-highest passer rating at 102.2.
