Jags take advantage of turnovers to down Denver


Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Maurice Jones-Drew rushed for 125 yards and a pair of touchdowns, as the Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Denver Broncos, 24-17, at Invesco Field at Mile High.

David Garrard finished 25-of-34 for 276 yards and one touchdown for the Jaguars (3-3). Jones-Drew registered 22 carries and also caught seven balls for 69 yards.

Jacksonville has won three of its last four games and has a bye next week.

Jay Cutler was 21-of-37 for 192 yards, with two touchdowns and one interception for the Broncos (4-2). Denver, which has dropped two of its last three contest, got a solid game from running back Michael Pittman, who gained 109 yards on 20 carries.

Pittman got a lot of work because of a groin injury to Selvin Young.

Brandon Marshall had nine receptions for 98 yards for the Broncos, who were hurt by three turnovers.
