Johnson, Chiefs run all over Broncos

Kansas City, MO (Sports Network) - Larry Johnson had 198 yards on 28 carries with two touchdowns as the Kansas City Chiefs shocked the Denver Broncos with a 33-19 win at Arrowhead Stadium.

Damon Huard was a proficient 21-for-28 with 160 yards and a touchdown while Dwayne Bowe added seven receptions for 85 yards for the Chiefs (1-3), who halted a franchise-worst 12-game losing streak and won for the first time since a victory over Oakland on October 21, 2007.

Tony Gonzalez had three catches for 47 yards and a score and now has 10,058 yards on his career, which is just two shy of Shannon Sharpe for the most all- time by a tight end in NFL history.

Jay Cutler was 29-for-49 with 361 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions while Eddie Royal finished the game with nine catches for 104 yards for the Broncos (3-1), who were averaging 34 points per game coming into the contest.

Brandon Marshall had seven catches for 77 yards and a score while Brandon Stokley added seven catches for 80 yards in the loss for Denver, which was looking for its first 4-0 start since 2003. Selvin Young had 49 yards on 11 carries.
