Jones, Jets keep Bengals winlessEast Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) - Thomas Jones rushed for 65 yards and two touchdowns and added a scoring reception to lead the New York Jets over Cincinnati, 26-14, at the Meadowlands. Brett Favre completed 25-of-33 passes for 189 yards with a touchdown, but was intercepted twice for the Jets (3-2), who have scored 82 points in their last two wins.
New York's Jerricho Cotchery led all receivers with eight catches for 85
yards. Ryan Fitzpatrick, starting in place of the injured Carson Palmer, threw for 152 yards on 20-of-33 completions and scored a rushing touchdown for the winless Bengals (0-6). Chad Johnson had five receptions for 57 yards in the loss.
