After Montreal conceded a safety, Joseph hooked up with Fantuz for a 33-yard scoring strike that put the Roughriders up 9-4. Saskatchewan then forced an Als' punt before Joseph found D.J. Flick for a six-yard score.

Luca Congi's 37-yard field goal as time expired in the first half made it 19-4 Riders.

Saskatchewan tailback Corey Holmes scored from a yard out in the third quarter before Duval booted a 25-yarder. Joseph answered with a 16-yard TD to Holmes that made it 33-7.
