Pair of Tiger-Cats among CFL weekly award winners

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Hamilton Tiger-Cats quarterback Quinton Porter and linebacker Cameron Siskowic highlighted the list for the top players in the CFL for Week 15.

Porter was awarded offensive honors after a stellar 44-38 shootout win over Montreal, completing 27-of-32 passes for 429 yards and five touchdowns. His 158.3 rating was the highest possible score.

He joins Richie Williams as the only Tiger-Cats to win the honor this season.

Siskowic earned the defensive award by recording six tackles, one sack and a fumble recovery in the victory over the Alouettes. He was part of a defense which held Avon Cobourne to 10 yards on six carries.

Edmonton kick/punt returner Tristan Jackson nabbed the special teams award, after returning eight punts for 101 yards, including a 67-yard return for a touchdown in a 36-22 triumph over Winnipeg.

It was Jackson's third weekly honor already this year, after selections for Weeks 3-4.

The top Canadian player for the week was Eskimos running back Calvin McCarty, who rushed for 88 yards and a score on 19 rushes while adding eight receptions for 80 yards in Edmonton's victory.
