Pats activate two players from PUPFoxboro, MA (Sports Network) - The New England Patriots on Wednesday activated wide receiver Chad Jackson and cornerback Eddie Jackson from the physically-unable-to-perform list. Chad Jackson, who was selected 36th overall in the 2006 draft, has not played this season. He suffered a tear of the right anterior cruciate ligament in last season's AFC championship game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Jackson had 13 receptions for 152 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games last
season. Eddie Jackson, 27, has played 39 career games in three seasons between the Carolina Panthers and Miami Dolphins. Jackson, who has not played this season, has recorded 16 career tackles and two fumble recoveries. In a corresponding move, the Patriots released safety Ray Ventrone.
