Thumb injury sidelines Bills WR Parrish 4-6 weeks

Orchard Park, NY (Sports Network) - Buffalo Bills wide receiver and return specialist Roscoe Parrish may miss four to six weeks after undergoing thumb surgery.

Parrish injured a ligament in his thumb early in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 24-23 win over Oakland, and stayed in to make a late TD catch in the Bills' comeback victory.

Buffalo head coach Dick Jauron said that he hoped Parrish would miss only four to six weeks after surgery, which was performed on Tuesday.

Parrish has seven receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown for the AFC East- leading Bills, who have started the season on a 3-0 run.
