Titans waive CB HerndonNashville, TN (Sports Network) - The Tennessee Titans waived cornerback Kelly Herndon on Friday after the first season of a three-year contract. Herndon, 31, played in just four games and recorded only two tackles with Tennessee last season after signing a three-year deal in June 2007. He was expected to fill the void at cornerback left by the suspension of Adam "Pacman" Jones, but Cortland Finnegan won the job in training camp and Herndon saw little action in 2007.
Herndon has played in 64 games (49 starts) over six seasons with Denver,
Seattle and Tennessee, recording 224 tackles and nine interceptions.
