Bradford grabs one-shot lead in OntarioMississauga, ON (Sports Network) - George Bradford posted a four-under 66 Friday to grab a one-shot lead after two rounds of the Jane Rogers Championship of Mississauga. Bradford completed 36 holes at nine-under-par 131. He leads by one over Ryan Yip (66) and Alex Coe (65).
Tim Wood is alone in fourth at seven-under-par 133 after a 66 of his own. Bradford dropped a shot on the second, but got that shot back as he birdied the par-three third at Lakeview Golf Club. He birdied the sixth, but tripped to a double-bogey on the next. Around the turn, he birdied three of four holes from the 11th to move to minus-seven. After a bogey on 15, Bradford eagled the par-five 16th. He birdied the last for the second-round lead. D.J. Fiese carded four-under 66 and is alone in fifth at six-under-par 134. First-round leader Josh Geary stumbled to a one-over 71 to slide to minus- five. He was joined in sixth by Lee M. Williamson (67), Graham DeLaet (70), Jim Seki (68) and Michael Gligic (69). The cut line fell at two-over-par 142 with 73 players moving on to the weekend. Among those missing the cut were La Loma San Luis Potosi Open champ Russell Surber (144) and two-time winner this year Daniel Im (146).
