Bradford moves three clear in SaskatchewanSaskatoon, SK (Sports Network) - George Bradford fired a six-under 66 Saturday to grab a three-stroke lead after three rounds of the Saskatchewan Open. Bradford completed 54 holes at 16-under-par 200 after four straight rounds in the 60s.
Ron Grube, who shared the second-round lead with Graham DeLaet, Ryan Carter
and Dale Vallely, managed an even-par 72 in the third round and is now alone
in second place at minus-13. DeLaet tripped to a one-over 73 and shares third place at 12-under-par 204 with JC Deacon, who shot 71 Saturday. Josh Geary and Clay Ogden both shot 71 in round three and are tied for fifth at minus-11 at Dakota Dunes Golf Links. Bradford birdied four of the first eight holes, but stumbled to a double-bogey at the ninth to make the turn at 12-under. Around the turn, he eagled the par-five 10th, then collected back-to-back birdies from the 12th to jump to minus-16. Bradford tripped to a bogey on the 16th, but recovered that lost stroke with a birdie at the par-five 18th. Vallely stumbled to a three-over 75 to fall into a share of seventh at 10- under-par 206. He was joined there by James Love (72) and Stuart Anderson (70). Carter is one stroke further back at minus-nine after faltering to a four-over 76 to left him tied for 10th at nine-under-par 207.
