Ellis ties Bland for Canadian Tour leadStockton, CA (Sports Network) - John Ellis shot a two-under 70 on Saturday to tie Adam Bland for the lead after three rounds of the Canadian Tour's Stockton Sports Commission Classic. Bland, the second-round leader, stumbled to a one-over 73 to join Ellis at 13- under 203 heading into the final round at Brookside Country Club. Tommy Barber fired a six-under 66 -- the best round of the day -- and was one shot behind the co-leaders at 12-under 204. Andrew Parr (67), Stephen Gangluff (69), Eugene Smith (70), Byron Smith (70) and Conner Robbins (71) were another stroke further back at 11-under 205. There were 23 players separated by just five shots at the top of the leaderboard. Bland, a two-time winner on the Canadian Tour last year, tied for 46th at the 2008 season-opener last week and has also made starts on the European and Nationwide Tours this season. Ellis will be seeking his first Canadian Tour win on Sunday.
