Levin rallies for playoff win at Spring InternationalModesto, CA (Sports Network) - Spencer Levin faced a six-shot deficit heading to the back nine Sunday, but he was able to dig himself out of that hole before defeating Andrew Parr in a playoff to win the Spring International. Levin closed with a three-under 69. Parr, who birdied four of the first seven holes, finished with a two-under 70. They ended at 15-under-par 273 at Del Rio Country Club.
Parr led by seven at one point, but bogeyed the final two holes to drop into
the playoff, where Levin walked away with his third tour title. Joseph Lanza (69) finished alone in third place at 13-under-par 275. Brent Schwarzrock (71) and Joel Kribel (72) were one stroke further back at minus-12. Byron Smith and Garrett Frank tied for sixth at 11-under-par 277, with Troy Kelly, John Ellis, Steve Conway and Scott Gibson right behind them at minus-10.
