Lindley jumps 35 spots in world rankings


Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Leta Lindley claimed her first career LPGA Tour victory on Sunday at the LPGA Corning Classic and jumped 35 places to No. 65 in the world rankings.

Lorena Ochoa, Annika Sorenstam, Suzann Pettersen, Paula Creamer, Karrie Webb, Ji-Yai Shin, Cristie Kerr, Jeong Jang, Jee Young Lee and Juli Inkster made up the top 10 in the same order as last week.

Momoko Ueda, Mi Hyun Kim, Morgan Pressel, Se Ri Pak, Maria Hjorth, Stacy Prammanasudh, Sakura Yokomine, Angela Stanford, Catriona Matthew and Seon Hwa Lee rounded out the top 20, with Kim and Pressel switching places at 12 and 13.
