Ochoa continues to dominate, leads by five in MexicoMorelia, Mexico (Sports Network) - Women's world No. 1 Lorena Ochoa is going for her third straight win. She moved closer to making that a reality on Saturday as she fired her third consecutive seven-under 66 to move five shots clear of the field after three rounds of the Corona Championship. Ochoa completed three rounds with a score of 21-under-par 198. That total smashed her previous 54-hole scoring record here, a 203 when she won in 2006. The Mexican has won three straight times, and six of seven overall, when holding at least a share of the 54-hole lead. For her career, she is 10-7 in those situations. Inbee Park, who started the day one back, posted a three-under 70 at Tres Marias Residential Golf Club and is alone in second at minus-16. Song-Hee Kim posted three straight birdies from the sixth to get within one of the lead, but she ended up shooting a 71 which left her at 13-under-par 206. Ochoa, who owns 20 tour wins, has collected a remarkable 17 titles in the last 24 months. If she goes on to win this week, she will qualify for the LPGA and World Golf Halls of Fame, though she would have to wait until she has played 10 years to actually be inducted. MORE TO FOLLOW.
