Ochoa shares lead in her native MexicoMorelia, Mexico (Sports Network) - Fresh off her second major championship, Lorena Ochoa fired a seven-under 66 on Thursday to take a share of the first- round lead at the Corona Championship. The Mexican star opened with two eagles, four birdies and a bogey at Tres Marias Golf Club to take the early lead by herself, then was matched by 19- year-old Korean Song-Hee Kim. Ochoa won the Kraft Nabisco Championship in runaway fashion last Sunday, her second career major title and third victory of the young season. The world No. 1 and Guadalajara native won this tournament in 2006, near the beginning of a dominant run that has seen her win 17 times in just 24 months. But she was upset by Silvia Cavalleri last year after Cavalleri closed with a 66 in the final round. Ochoa and Kim held a three-shot lead on Carin Koch, Kim Williams, Audra Burks, Inbee Park, Na Yeon Choi and Hee Young Park, who were all at four-under 69. Overall there were 17 players separated by just five shots at the top of the leaderboard. MORE TO FOLLOW.
