Wagner wins Houston Open, is headed to AugustaHumble, TX (Sports Network) - To the victor go the spoils. Johnson Wagner got up and down for par on the 18th hole Sunday to post one- under 71 and win the Houston Open by two strokes. Wagner completed his first tour crown at 16-under-par 272. And with the win, he gained an invitation to The Masters next week. It will be his first trip to Augusta as a player. Chad Campbell birdied four of five holes at one point on the back nine, but a bogey on the 16th derailed his chances of forcing a playoff. He closed with an even-par 72 to end at 14-under-par 274. Campbell was joined in second place by reigning U.S. Open champ Geoff Ogilvy, who birdied the last at Redstone Golf Club to shoot a final-round 68. Former champion Fred Couples (66) and Billy Mayfair (66) shared fourth place at minus-13. MORE TO FOLLOW
