Avs activate Arnason

Washington, D.C. (Sports Network) - The Colorado Avalanche activated center Tyler Arnason from the injured reserve list on Wednesday.

The 28-year-old center will be available to play for the Avalanche tonight when they take on the Washington Capitals. Arnason had played in 112 consecutive games prior to suffering a wrist injury in Columbus on December 12. He has missed 12 games since.

Arnason has notched 10 points -- three goals and seven assists -- in 30 games this season, his second in Colorado. In parts of seven NHL seasons with Chicago, Ottawa and Colorado, Arnason has totaled 76 goals and 126 assists in 376 career games.
