Blues' Jackman placed on IR

St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - St. Louis Blues defenseman Barret Jackman was placed on injured reserve Thursday because of a concussion.

Jackman was hurt during Wednesday's game against Detroit.

In 34 games this season, Jackman has one goal and three assists. He shares the team lead with 40 penalty minutes and owns a team-worst minus-14 rating.

The Blues have recalled defenseman Steve Wagner from Peoria of the AHL to fill the vacant roster spot. Wagner, who was assigned to the minors earlier this month, has two goals and six assists in 21 games for the Blues.
