Canucks bring in Hordichuk


Vancouver, BC (Sports Network) - The Vancouver Canucks signed forward Darcy Hordichuk, the team announced Tuesday. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Hordichuk, 27, had spent the past three seasons with Nashville. Last season he appeared in 45 games and accumulated 60 penalty minutes to go with three points.

In 302 regular season games with the Predators, Florida, Phoenix and Atlanta, Hordichuk has scored 13 times, added 13 assists and has 747 penalty minutes. He was a sixth-round selection by the Thrashers in the 2000 draft.
