Ottawa, ON (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Kings acquired forward Brad Richardson from Colorado on Saturday in exchange for a second-round pick (61st overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, with which the Avalanche selected goaltender Peter Delmas.

The 23-year-old Richardson split time last season with Colorado and Lake Erie of the American Hockey League. He tallied two goals and five points in 22 games for the Avalanche and 14 goals and 40 points in 38 games with the Monsters.

A fifth-round pick (163rd overall) in the 2003 draft, Richardson has 19 goals and 40 points in 136 career NHL games, all with Colorado.
