Kings re-sign four

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Kings re-signed forward Matt Moulson, goaltender Erik Ersberg and defenseman Joe Piskula to one-year contracts while inking forward Gabe Gauthier to a two-year deal on Wednesday. Per club policy, financial terms of the agreements were not disclosed.

The 24-year-old Moulson tallied five goals and four assists in making his NHL debut for the Kings last season over 22 games, having split time with the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League.

Ersberg, 26, amassed a 6-5-3 record with a 2.48 goals-against average last season, appearing in 14 games in his first stint of NHL action.

Gauthier, 24, failed to record a point in eight games with the Kings stretching over two seasons (2006-08).

The 24-year-old Piskula played in five NHL games during the 2006-07 season without recording a point, having spent all of last season with Manchester.
