MSG settles with Rangers cheerleader

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Madison Square Garden settled a sexual discrimination lawsuit with former New York Rangers cheerleader Courtney Prince.

According to the New York Times, Prince, who was fired in January 2004, claimed managers at MSG told her which skaters they liked and which ones they wanted to attend postgame parties.

The ex-cheerleader also accused her supervisor, Ryan Halkatt, of telling her which skaters had to lose weight or "stuff their bras" to appear more alluring, and said Jason Vogel, a public relations manager for the Rangers, and another man asked her to join them for a threesome in a bar bathroom.

Terms of the settlement were not disclosed.

A statement released on Prince's behalf by her legal team read: "We resolved this matter with no admission of wrongdoing on the part of any party, and I will have no further comment."

Earlier this year, Madison Square Garden refused to settle a suit with former Knicks team executive Anucha Browne Sanders after she accused Isiah Thomas and MSG of sexual harassment.

Sanders was awarded $11.6 million in October after a trial and MSG eventually settled for $11.5 million before the punitive phase of the trail was set to begin.
