Morrison out for season after ACL injuryVancouver, BC (Sports Network) - Vancouver Canucks center Brendan Morrison tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in the second period of his club's 6-3 loss against the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday. As a result, the 32-year-old will miss the remainder of the season.
Morrison notched nine goals and 16 assists for 25 points in only 39 games this
season for Vancouver, which is fighting a four-way battle with Minnesota,
Calgary and Colorado for first place in the Northwest Division.
