Naegele set to sell interest in Wild

Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - Minnesota Wild majority owner Bob Naegele is expected to announce that he has sold his interest in the team, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

The Wild have scheduled a news conference for 1:30 p.m. (et) at the Xcel Energy Center.

The team's parent company, Minnesota Sports & Entertainment, has not announced details of the news conference but a source confirmed the sale to the Star Tribune.

Naegele has reportedly been negotiating with Wisconsin native Craig Leipold, who recently sold the Nashville Predators for $193 million.
