Oilers sign Horcoff to multi-year extension

Edmonton, AB (Sports Network) - The Edmonton Oilers signed center Shawn Horcoff to a multi-year contract extension, the club announced Wednesday.

The 29-year-old native of Trail, British Columbia was Edmonton's second- leading scorer this past season, compiling 21 goals and 29 assists in 53 games.

Selected by the Oilers in the fourth round (99th overall) of the 1998 NHL Draft, Horcoff has 103 goals and 182 assists in 480 career regular-season games.
