Stars take forward Winchester off IR

Frisco, TX (Sports Network) - The Dallas Stars activated left wing Brad Winchester off the injured reserve list Friday.

Winchester, who had been out with an abdominal strain he suffered in a 5-0 loss to Phoenix on November 2, has recorded an assist and 22 penalty minutes in 10 games this season.

He was sent to the Stars' American Hockey League affiliate in Iowa on a conditioning assignment.
