Sydor in, Letang out for Pens in Game 3

Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - The Pittsburgh Penguins made a lineup change for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals, as Darryl Sydor replaced rookie Kris Letang on defense.

Sidney Crosby scored twice, as Pittsburgh edged the Detroit Red Wings, 3-2. The Penguins still trail the best-of-seven series, 2-1.

Sydor took 18 shifts and finished with 13:31 of ice time.

A two-time Stanley Cup champion with Dallas in 1999 and Tampa Bay in 2004, Sydor had not appeared in a playoff game this spring prior to Wednesday. He appeared in 74 games during the regular season and notched a goal with 12 assists.

Letang has two assists in 16 games this playoff season.
