Vancouver re-signs CowanVancouver, BC (Sports Network) - The Vancouver Canucks announced Thursday that forward Jeff Cowan has signed a two-year contract extension. The 30-year-old Cowan was claimed off waivers by the Canucks from the Los Angeles Kings last season and played in 42 games with Vancouver, registering seven goals and three assists.
In 367 career games with Calgary, Atlanta, LA and Vancouver, the 6-foot-2,
205-pound winger has scored 47 goals and picked up 33 assists to go along with
585 penalty minutes.
