More track problems at Santa Anita

Arcadia, CA (Sports Network) - Racing at Santa Anita Park needed to be cancelled on Thursday after the synthetic track was deemed unsafe. The all- weather Cushion Track did not drain properly due to heavy rain overnight on Wednesday.

This is the second time the track has cancelled racing because of improper drainage. On January 5-7 Santa Anita was forced to cancel its programs.
