Barca's Rijkaard claims he won't quit

Barcelona, Spain (Sports Network) - Frank Rijkaard is adamant that he will not walk away from Barcelona despite their Champions League exit at the hands of Manchester United.

Tuesday's 1-0 semifinal second leg defeat at Old Trafford ensured the Catalan giants will end a second straight season without silverware following their failure to keep up with Real Madrid in La Liga.

Rijkaard's future at the Camp Nou has been the subject of intense speculation since last summer, but the Dutchman claims he has no plans to quit the club.

"I have no intention of leaving," he said. "It would be different if the players were saying it is time for me to go but that is not the case."
