Chivas' Flores doubtful for Galaxy contest

Carson, CA (Sports Network) - Chivas USA midfielder Jorge Flores suffered a sprained right ankle during training on Monday, leaving him doubtful for the team's showdown with the Los Angeles Galaxy on Thursday.

Flores is day-to-day as he recovers from the injury, but he is also not expected to travel to Texas on Friday to take part in the U.S. U-20 national team's match against Mexico.

The Anaheim, California native has made six appearances for Chivas this season, including three starts, and he has tallied three goals. He has also been part of the U.S. U-20 squad for a number of tournaments this year and has made more appearances for the U-20's than any other player.
