Detroit acquires rights to Gibson from California

Stockton, CA (Sports Network) - California of the Major Indoor Soccer League traded the playing rights to forward Leo Gibson to Detroit on Thursday for a first-round pick in the 2008 Supplemental Draft and future considerations.

California selected Gibson in the fifth round of the 2007 Supplemental Draft.
