Eskandarian undergoes successful surgery


Carson, CA (Sports Network) - Chivas USA forward Alecko Eskandarian underwent successful surgery on his left groin on Wednesday, the team announced on Thursday. Eskandarian, who has one goal in his only appearance with Chivas USA this season, could be out of action for up to six weeks.

In 105 career Major League Soccer games, Eskandarian has 23 goals and 10 assists with D.C. United, Toronto FC, Real Salt Lake and Chivas USA.
