Fiorentina's Mutu out two weeks

Florence, Italy (Sports Network) - Fiorentina striker Adrian Mutu has been ruled out for two weeks with a stomach muscle injury.

The injury-plagued Romania international picked up his latest problem after scoring during the midweek 1-1 Champions League stalemate with Bayern Munich in Florence.

"The medical tests we performed on Adrian Mutu have revealed a first degree muscular lesion to the adductor," read a statement on the club's official website.

"We have already started the required course of physiotherapy and Mutu will return to action within two weeks."
