Fire release midfielder Bedrossian

Bridgeview, IL (Sports Network) - The Chicago Fire announced Thursday that the club will not exercise their option for Senior International midfielder Pascal Bedrossian, thus terminating his contract.

Also, Fire midfielder Ivan Guerrero obtained his green card today and as a result, two of four Senior International roster slots on the clubs 28-man roster have opened. One of the Senior International slots will be filled on July 1, by the Fires Designated Player signing, Cuauhtemoc Blanco.
