Hearts takes interim tag off KorobochkaEdinburgh, Scotland (Sports Network) - Head coach Anatoly Korobochka received a vote of confidence from Hearts on Monday as it was announced that he will remain in charge of the club for the upcoming season. Korobochka took control of the team on an interim basis in March when Valdas Ivanauskas had to leave due to health issues.
Also staying at Tynecastle will be top assistant coach, Stephen Frail. New to the club is Angel Cerenkov, who just left the head coaching position with Kaunas. The Bulgarian will be in charge of the reserves. "It's pointless to say that we want to be champions, because of course we do," said majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov. "But our main target is to create a system in the club where we are a big happy family and looking optimistically to the future." Hearts, which finished fourth place of the Scottish Premier last season, will open up its 2007-2008 campaign on August 6, at home verses Hibernian.
