Inter's Vieira suspended two games

Milan, Italy (Sports Network) - Inter Milan midfielder Patrick Vieira has been suspended two matches after receiving a red card for foul and abusive language toward the referee Sunday.

Vieira was sent off in the 39th minute of Sunday's 2-0 win over Empoli.

He will miss this weekend's game against Catania Calcio and the following game against Livorno.

Inter Milan, unbeaten Serie A play this season, leads the league by eight over second-place Roma.
