Napoli tells Liverpool that Hamsik is not for saleLiverpool, England (Sports Network) - Potential Liverpool target Marek Hamsik is not for sale according to his current club, Napoli. The 20-year-old Slovakia international, who can play at left back or on the left side of midfield, has only been in Naples for one season, scoring nine goals in 37 league appearances.
However, Napoli have been quick to warn off any potential suitors for one of
their star players. Director of sport, Pierpaolo Marino, said: "Napoli chose a bunch of motivated lads. We knew they would give their all and they have not disappointed. "Among these, Hamsik is unsellable. The club are trying to get in touch with his agents, because we would be up in arms if they are attempting to sell him. "We will not exchange him, nor will we accept any figure for his services. He is central to our plans for next season." (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
