Rapids waive midfielder Gomes

Commerce City, CO (Sports Network) - The Colorado Rapids announced on Saturday the club has waived midfielder Rafael Gomes.

Gomes, who was signed by the Rapids on March 3, appeared in seven matches for Colorado with two starts, played 282 minutes with the first team while recording just one assist.
