Senderos joins AC Milan on loanMilan, Italy (Sports Network) - Arsenal have confirmed that Switzerland international Philippe Senderos has joined AC Milan on a season-long loan deal. A brief statement on the Gunners' official website read: "Everyone at Arsenal would like to wish Philippe the very best for the coming season and his time with AC Milan."
The 23-year-old could seal a permanent move to the San Siro if he impresses
this term. Boss Arsene Wenger said of the arrangement earlier this week: "Senderos has gone to Milan and will complete a medical. "At the moment, he does not get the games here and so now he can play somewhere and remains at a top-level club." Senderos has made 115 appearances in all competitions during his five years with the Gunners, having moved to England from FC Servette in the summer of 2003. (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
