Spain international Reyes happy at Atletico Madrid

Madrid, Spain (Sports Network) - Spain forward Jose Antonio Reyes has insisted that he is happy at Atletico Madrid, despite be left out of the squad for the weekend clash with Sevilla.

The 24-year-old missed the game against one of his former clubs after a reported falling-out with coach Javier Aguirre, but Reyes insists there is no problem between the two men.

"I have not shown a lack of respect to the coach as I owe Atletico and I would never disrespect the club," he told the Spanish press. "We have talked like we always talk and when I have not played in the past we have discussed it.

"If it did not hurt me to be left out then I would not be a professional. But I want to stay here for the four years of my contract. I have been treated very well and like it here."
