Toni hopes to end career in Italy

Munich, Germany (Sports Network) - Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni has admitted he would like to end his career back home in Italy.

The 31-year-old striker found the net 24 times in a successful first season in the Bundesliga last year.

But Toni, who still has three years remaining on his contract at the Allianz Arena, has confirmed his intention to return to Serie A to finish his career.

"I think I will end my career in Italy," he said.

"I am stuck on 99 goals in Italy and I would like to reach 100 in Serie A, but there is still a lot of time."
