Tottenham may loan Boateng to Stuttgart

Stuttgart, Germany (Sports Network) - Tottenham is ready to let unsettled midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng leave White Hart Lane.

The 21-year-old is poised to secure a return to Germany with Bundesliga side Stuttgart on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal should he impress.

Boateng joined Spurs from Hertha Berlin last summer but was a peripheral figure on the first-team scene following the arrival of Juande Ramos as manager midway through the last campaign.

He made 21 appearances in total but started just seven Premier League games during a frustrating campaign.

"Kevin has decided on Stuttgart, now the two clubs have to agree," his agent Jorg Neubauer told German media.

Stuttgart General Manager Horst Heldt added: "Boateng is a very interesting player. We are in talks."
