Azarenka, Bob Bryan capture mixed title in ParisParis, France (Sports Network) - A third-seeded tandem of Belarusian Victoria Azarenka and American Bob Bryan captured the mixed doubles title Friday at the 2008 French Open. Azarenka-Bryan upset a top-seeded duo of Slovenian Katarina Srebotnik and Serbian Nenad Zimonjic 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) at Roland Garros. Bryan is half of the world's top-ranked men's doubles unit, the twin Bryan brothers, Bob and Mike.
Bob Bryan now owns nine Grand Slam doubles titles, including four mixed
championships. Azarenka and Bryan will split $110,000.
