play Blake on Saturday. The only other time Blake played Tursunov was in the
Davis Cup final last year, a three-set victory for Blake. In other quarterfinal action, second-seeded Frenchman Gilles Simon overcame fifth-seeded oft-injured German Tommy Haas 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 and fourth-seeded Sam Querrey held off fellow American Bobby Reynolds 6-1, 3-6, 6-3. Simon was down a set and 1-3 before mounting a fierce comeback against Haas on Day 5. The 2008 Indianapolis titlist will pocket $83,500.
