Errani, Muller lose in Bogota quarters

Bogota, Colombia (Sports Network) - Seeded women Sara Errani of Italy and Martina Muller of Germany were a couple of quarterfinal upset victims Friday at the $185,000 Copa Colsanitas Santander tennis tournament.

Spanish qualifier Nuria Llagostera Vives drove out the sixth-seeded Errani 7-5, 6-1, while Argentine qualifier Betina Jozami reached her first-ever WTA Tour semifinal by ousting the ninth-seeded Muller 6-3, 6-1 on the red clay at Club Campestre El Rancho. Llagostera Vives and Jozami will face-off here on Saturday.

The 2008 Bogota winner will take home $29,000.
