Jankovic advances at U.S. Open

Flushing Meadows, NY (Sports Network) - Second-seeded Jelena Jankovic of Serbia rallied to defeat Danish upstart Caroline Wozniacki in three sets Sunday at the U.S. Open.

Jankovic struggled badly early before her conditioning took over in the final two frames en route to a 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 victory.

Jankovic will now move on to face the winner of the Marion Bartoli/Sybille Bammer matchup, in the quarterfinals.
