Ljubicic ousted at Ordina Open's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands (Sports Network) - Defending champion Ivan Ljubicic was among Wednesday's second-round losers at the grass-court Ordina Open, a final Wimbledon tuneup. Serbian qualifier Viktor Troicki doused the fourth-seeded Ljubicic in 5-7, 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) fashion at Autotron Rosmalen. The Croatian Ljubicic topped Dutchman Peter Wessels in last year's finale and had won his last six matches here.
Seventh-seeded Argentine Guillermo Canas avoided an upset by handling Indian
qualifier Rohan Bopanna 6-2, 6-4, while other second-round action saw
Frenchman Arnaud Clement overcome Spaniard Marcel Granollers 6-7 (8-10), 6-3,
6-3 and Argentine Juan Martin Del Potro sneak past German veteran Rainer
Schuettler 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (7-5). Thursday's quarterfinals will pit top-seeded Spaniard David Ferrer against sixth-seeded Croat Mario Ancic, Canas versus Troicki, Clement against Del Potro and Austrian Jurgen Melzer versus Frenchman Marc Gicquel. Ancic captured this event back-to-back in 2005 and 2006, has won his last 12 matches here and is 15-2 lifetime at the Ordina Open.
