Rain wipes out Day 1 at Austrian OpenKitzbuhel, Austria (Sports Network) - Rain washed away Monday's schedule at the clay-court Austrian Open. Three matches were on the Day-1 schedule, including one for eighth-seeded Belgian Olivier Rochus, who will have to wait until Tuesday to face Czech Ivo Minar at Sportpark.
This week's top seeds are Italian Andreas Seppi and Wimbledon semifinalist
Rainer Schuettler of Germany -- both of whom are on Tuesday's schedule. Argentine Juan Monaco, who is not defending his title this week, beat Italian Potito Starace in last year's finale here. The 2008 Kitzbuhel titlist will claim $185,000.
